Murley Prize for Undergraduate Research

The Department of Classics seeks applications for up to two prizes for undergraduate research in classical literature and culture. The prize will be awarded for the best essay on any aspect of ancient Greek and Roman literature, culture and/or heritage, and traditions of classical antiquity.
All current Northwestern undergraduates in any department are eligible to apply.
How to Apply
The essay should be submitted with a title page which should not include the student's name. The essay should also include a cover letter containing the following information:
- Name of the student.
- Contact information, including address, phone number and e-mail address.
- Title of the course, name of professor and quarter in which the course was taken.
- Status of the student, including both year and major/minor.
- The exact title of the essay (matching the title on the separate title page).
The deadline for all applications is 5 PM on THURSDAY, MAY 1, 2014.
